New painting I’m starting trying this one on paper
The National
next one up.  This one is gonna be a little bit different. Instead of using pixelation as a visual queue to represent a break in communication or the syntax of image interpretation, in this painting I’m going to use the image transference as that break.  I am going to be painting this one from a cell phone. No other images printed or anything, the image and all its detail will only be captured from what I can see from the cell phone screen.  This is going to be an entirely new method of working on the apocalypse.  I’m emphasizing the speed and connectivity of the “collect unconscious” of the internet, cell phones and interconnectivity, and how that process may represent a distopian future.
